Good morning,A Clearfield man is headed to prison following an assault case. 23-year-old Dakota Michael Peters pleaded guilty and was sentenced to four months to one year in the county jail, along with probation. Police say the case involved a domestic incident, and he’s now prohibited from contacting the victim.Police are also reminding drivers to stop for school buses. Clearfield Regional Police say violations are increasing, and penalties can include a license suspension, points on your record, and fines. Officials say when red lights are flashing, drivers must stop in all directions.And in DuBois, the city is receiving statewide recognition.
